FMCG shares were trading on a mixed note in Thursday's session.

Shares of United Breweries (up 3.12%), Jubilant Foodworks (up 1.31%), Tata Consumer products (up 1.22%), ITC (up 1.13%), Marico (up 1.01%), Colgate Palmolive (India) (up 0.17%), Godrej Consumer Products (up 0.14%), and Nestle India (up 0.05%) were among the top gainers.

While Emami (down 3.05%), VBL (down 1.48%), Hindustan Unilever (down 0.94%), Britannia industries (down 0.62%), United Spirits (down 0.6%), Dabur India (down 0.38%), and P&G Hygiene (down 0.03%) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty FMCG index was trading 0.09% up at 30259.4 around 02:05PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 146.50 points at 10576.55, while the BSE Sensex was up 529.25 points at 35943.7.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 38 were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Tata Power, SBI, ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, Tata Motors, Axis Bank, Ashok Leyland, and RBL Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
