Byju's clears 97% dues after EPFO probe into delayed PF payments

Byju's informed the EPFO (Employees' Provident Fund Organization) that it has paid the employee provident fund (PF) contributions for the period from August 2022 to May 2023, totaling Rs 123.1 crore. They also mentioned that they will submit the remaining amount of Rs 3.43 crore within the next two days.




After investigating the delay in provident fund (PF) payments by Byju's, the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) found that the company has now paid almost 97 percent of its PF dues. This means that Byju's has cleared a significant portion of the outstanding amount that it owed to its employees' PF accounts.


Byju's sent an email to the EPFO on June 27, stating that they have paid Rs 123.1 crore towards the provident fund (PF) dues for the period from August 2022 to May 2023. They also mentioned that they will be submitting the remaining balance of Rs 3.43 crore within the next two days.
